A running toilet costs you money every month and takes about an hour to fix. A faucet that drips has been dripping since spring. The shutoff under the sink hasn’t turned in a decade, which you’ll discover at the worst possible moment.
None of it is a plumbing emergency. All of it is on a list somewhere. We do this work across Winchester and Frederick County — usually in the same visit as whatever else is on that list.
Faucets and sinks. Kitchen, bath, laundry and utility. Replacements, cartridge and valve repairs, sprayers, and the supply lines and shutoffs underneath that should be replaced at the same time and usually aren’t.
Toilets. New installs, replacements, wax rings, fill and flush valves, running toilets, and the one that rocks — which is a flange problem, not a toilet problem, and worth fixing before the subfloor finds out.
Garbage disposals. Replacement, jams, leaks at the flange, and the wiring, since we’re licensed for that side too.
Shutoffs and supply lines. Angle stops that no longer stop, braided line replacement, hose bibs and frost-free sillcocks, and a main shutoff you can actually find and turn.
Leaks. Under-sink, behind-toilet, and the ceiling stain that means something upstairs has been leaking for a while. We find the cause first — the repair is usually the short part.
Drains. Slow sink, tub and shower drains cleared, P-traps replaced, and vents checked when a drain gurgles instead of draining.
Appliance hookups. Dishwashers, icemaker lines, washing machine boxes and pans.
Fixture work in a remodel. The plumbing inside a bathroom or kitchen job — done by our own crew, which is why those jobs don’t stall waiting on somebody else’s schedule.
Anything gas. Gas lines, gas water heaters, gas appliance connections. We refer that out, every time, no exceptions. It isn’t our licence and it isn’t worth guessing at.
Appliance repair. We’ll install it and hook it up. Fixing the machine itself is somebody else’s trade.
We’d rather tell you that in the first two minutes than find out halfway through. If it’s outside what we do, we’ll usually know who to call.
Most people call us for one thing and hand us three. The faucet, plus the outlet that stopped working, plus the door that won’t latch. Because we’re a handyman company with the electrical and carpentry licences to match, that’s one visit and one invoice instead of three different companies with three different minimum charges.
