Before the year gets off and rolling we wanted to take a minute to thank all of you who have had us work on your properties and/or referred other property owners to us. We are truly grateful and will always do our best to be worthy of your referral; it is the very foundation of our business.
We look forward to serving the home owners, property managers and business owners of the Shenandoah Valley, and we want to do so responsibly. Toward that end we will continue to encourage everyone to keep up with maintenance and safety issues in the hopes of keeping service and especially emergency calls to a minimum.
January is a great time to re-organize your storage as you take down and put away the holiday decor. Take a minute to dispose of, or repair any worn items which could be problematic in the future. Use well marked, sealed containers to reduce clutter and access by pests. If you no longer need/want it — donate it, sell it or toss it! When it comes to clutter, less truly is more!
CLEAN AND REPLACE
The start of a new year is also a great time for a deep cleaning — get behind your appliances, deep clean your vents (dryer, stove exhaust, bathrooms…), did you remember to change all your filters? Have you checked the expiration on your fire extinguisher?
While you are organizing and cleaning, why not take a look around for items that might not need a little touch up or quick fix before a little problem becomes a big expensive inconvenience.
